From here I head west on Hwy 60 from Wickenburg to the Quartzsite Arizona mining areas, the first stop is is a Gold Prospectors Association of America recreational placer mine that is about 6 miles west of Quartzsite on the south side of Interstate 10, BLM camping is across the road from the claim and you are supposed to sign in with the camp host for a 14 day maximum stay limit. There was a lot of activity at this claim and people were digging and processing the gravels on a bank that was only a few hundred yards to the south of interstate 10. Many of the Quartzsite winter campers are equipped with solar panels and there are thousands of campers parked out on the BLM camping areas. After a week in this area I head north of Quartzsite on hwy 95, 13 miles to the Plomosa road BLM camping area. Going East on Plomosa road to Bouse AZ there is a geoglyph that is named the Bouse Fisherman.

What is a large picture of a fisherman that you can only see from an airplane doing out in the Arizona desert?
